‘I’ve been watching the NFL for 40 years’: Patriots coach says he’s not going to change any schedule

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick on Tuesday night defended his team’s schedule in an interview with MSNBC, saying that the team’s season opener in Week 1 was the right decision.

During the interview with the network’s Mike Reiss, Belichick said the Patriots had a tough schedule to play in, with two road games coming in Week 2 and two home games in Week 3.

“We have a really tough schedule in the regular season,” Belichick said.

“We had four road games, and then we had three home games and three home playoff games.

We’ve had a very tough schedule.

We didn’t get the bye, so I don’t know that I have an excuse, but it’s hard to do it in a week and a half.”

Belichick was asked about a possible change in the schedule following Sunday’s 24-17 loss to the Chicago Bears, which left New England on the outside of the AFC playoffs and out of the playoffs for the first time since 2008.

“Well, I dont know that theres anything that can change, he said.”

Theres no changes.

Were going to do what we can to make sure we have the best team we can.

And were doing everything we can with what we have right now.

“During a radio interview Tuesday morning, Patriots owner Robert Kraft said the teams schedule had to be changed, and it would be a decision for the owners to make.”

They were in a position where they needed to make a decision, but I dont think that we need to change the schedule in any way.””

Its a tough decision, and they made the right one.

They were in a position where they needed to make a decision, but I dont think that we need to change the schedule in any way.”

Brady was asked Monday about Belichicks comments.

“Hes not going anywhere, Brady said.

He said that he had an opportunity to talk with Belichick about the schedule, but Belichick was not going there.”

Im going to be there and Ill make sure that we get the best possible football team we possibly can. “

Im not going away.

Im going to be there and Ill make sure that we get the best possible football team we possibly can.

I can tell you that I think that’s a very hard thing to do.

I think itll take time, and I think well do it.”

Bratsa said that it was a tough day to play, but he didnt have a problem with the team.

“The most difficult part of that day was when I went out there and saw our team, but the most difficult thing was the fact that it is hard to play on the road, Bratsa told WEEIU’s John OConnor. “But thats part of the job.

Thats how you win.

And itd be a shame if wed lose in this game.
