A man was killed and a woman was injured Sunday when a man allegedly walked into the park where he had been playing with a knife and pulled the trigger, authorities said.
The man reportedly entered the Miami Beach park at about 8:45 a.m. and was reportedly playing with the knife when a group of young men approached and pulled him out of the grass, police said.
A man in his 20s was killed, and the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police added.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was transported to a local hospital.
Authorities have said that the man, who is being identified as 23-year-old Andrew Fournier, has not been arrested.
Investigators have been working to identify the group that pulled him from the park, according to the Miami Herald.
He was arrested in connection with the shooting, according the Miami Police Department.
